On Saturday 1st March we made an early morning trip to the Birmingham Wholesale Markets to have a nose around and chat to the workers, some of which had been working since 8pm the previous evening. We got there just in time to catch the final two hours of trading before the clean up operation began. Here are few photographs of what we came across:

There is definately something bleak about the Wholesale Markets – I certainly wouldn’t want to work their all night!

Where I work looks like that but its bleaker when you are actually there! and it makes feel miserable most of the time! Do any of you night workers out there experience the same miserableness or is it different for you???
