:: BIRMINGHAM behind the scenes :: An insight into Birmingham’s invisible army of night workers

On Saturday 1st March we made an early morning trip to the Birmingham Wholesale Markets to have a nose around and chat to the workers, some of which had been working since 8pm the previous evening. We got there just in time to catch the final two hours of trading before the clean up operation began. Here are few photographs of what we came across:
